Companies

  • JR Bus Kanto A bus division of JR East in the Kanto area. The overnight routes, known as "Dream", operate to most cities nationwide.
  • Shin Joban Kotsu This Fukushima Prefecture based bus company has developed a bus network, including Express services to Tokyo, Tokyo Disney Resorts, Koriyama, Aizu-Wakamatsu, Fukushima, Sendai, Kyoto and Osaka. Their homepage advises passengers how to reserve and buy tickets.
  • The Alpico Group (Kawanakajima Bus and Masumoto Electric Railway): The company is developing routes to Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo and major cities within Nagano Prefecture. You can also access express bus timetables of the another company in the group, Suwa Bus.
  • Nishi Nippon Railroad (the Nishitetsu Group): This Fukuoka Prefecture based railway company has developed a bus network, including Express services to Tokyo, Nagoya, Mie, Kyoto, Osaka, Okayama, Takamatsu and major cities within Kyushu Island.
  • OCAT (the Osaka City Air Terminal):  The bus terminal is located above JR Nanba Station and is mainly a conduit for arrival and departure bus services of Kansai and Itami Airports, but it is also a terminal for several express bus services.
  • SUNQ Pass An unlimited bus and ferry travel ticket, valid only in Kyushu and Shimonoseki.
  • Nohi Bus: This Gifu Prefecture based bus company has developed a bus network, including Express services to Tokyo, Nagoya, Toyama, Kanazawa, Kyoto and Osaka.
